Terms of Service

Landlord IQ is a product owned and operated by R Matias 55 Studios.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Landlord IQ, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not access the platform.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Landlord Subscriptions

Paid landlord subscriptions grant access to rent ledgers, utility invoicing, LTB form templates, co-landlord sync, and CRA T776 exports for the configured number of units. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled by the account owner.

4. Tenant Invitations

Tenants access Landlord IQ free of charge via a secure invitation link generated by their landlord. The tenant portal remains active while the underlying landlord subscription is in good standing.

5. Limitations of Liability

Landlord IQ is provided as a record-keeping and workflow tool. It is not legal, tax, or accounting advice. Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) filings and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) tax calculations produced from data entered into the platform. Landlord IQ and R Matias 55 Studios disclaim liability for regulatory outcomes arising from user-entered data.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for unlawful activity.
